Windham Mountain Resort is open for the 2017-18 season! First chair was at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24th, 2017. Top to bottom terrain is open for advanced skiing and riding on Upper and Lower Whistler, the Wall, and Warpath Chute on the Resort’s West Peak. Three of the four trails are groomed, along with the base area, and open terrain will be serviced by the Whirlwind Express high-speed Quad chair lift. Lift operation hours for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (November 24-26, 2017) are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Weather conditions have been variable over the past week, but Windham Mountain Resort’s snowmaking team has pulled off an impressive feat, working tirelessly over the Thanksgiving holiday. Snowmaking will continue on both peaks as weather conditions permit, and additional terrain will be opened as soon as it’s cleared by patrol. The Mountain Report at windhammountain.com will be updated with additional trail openings, and will indicate when and where snowmaking or grooming is taking place.
Lift tickets for November 24-26 are $39 for adults (18 and over), $29 for youth (7-17) and seniors, $10 for children under 6m, and $19 for seniors 75 and over. Lift tickets are always 10% off when purchased online, in advance.
In the base lodge, Tickets & Passes will be open all weekend for lift tickets, season passes, triple play and
gravity cards, and gift certificates. Windham Mountain Sports will be open with the latest and greatest gear and accessories. The snow sports school will be open for advanced lessons based on availability, and rentals will be up and running in their newly renovated shop. Mountain Express will serve breakfast and lunch on the second floor, and SEASONS will be open on the third floor for après ski with a panoramic view, serving lunch and dinner.
