They’re the quiet heroes of the mountain. First ones in, last ones out, ski patrol roam the mountain keeping skiers and riders safe from first chair, all the way to apres. At Windham Mountain, ski patrol is led by Maggie Brabazon, a lifelong Windham skier with a clear passion for her community, her patrol, and the mountain. She’s joined by a patrol that’s made up of over 1/3 women, and whether it’s sled pulling or slope shredding, the women of Windham Mountain Ski Patrol rip. Many come from generations of skiers and riders who have also served on the patrol and continue on a great tradition of serving others. Whether it’s International Women’s Day or every day, we’re proud to bear witness to their stories day in and day out.
