Windham Mountain Appoints Sean Warman as Alpine Race Program Director

WARMAN BRINGS NATIONAL PSIA EXPERIENCE

Windham Mountain, Windham, NY (November 18, 2019) -

Windham Mountain announces the appointment of Sean Warman, of Rhinebeck, NY, as Alpine Race Director.  Warman’s thirty plus years of experience directing successful programs and training athletes at the highest level of the sport includes work as a multi year US Ski Team skills development guest coach, PSIA National Alpine Team advanced educator, demo team coach and selector, USSA National Coach Academy, and 9 summers in Portillo, Chile. His coaching history includes stops at Heavenly, Crested Butte, Sierra at Tahoe, Northstar, Hunter Mountain and West Mountain. Sasha Rearick, US Ski & Snowboard’s Head Men’s Development Coach shares that he is “super stoked to hear Sean will be leading the program at Windham. His passion for helping athletes and coaches learn the fundamentals of our sport is exceptional. I am looking forward to seeing Windham athletes at US Ski Team projects.”

Warman will report to newly appointed Director of Snowsports, Dan Hogan, who says “We’re incredibly excited to have Sean leading the Windham Race Factory. His vision for the program strongly aligns with our shared purpose of excellence and leadership. His commitment to building a strong curriculum and well educated staff will effectively position The Windham Race Factory to provide an Above and Beyond experience for all stakeholders of the program.”

Windham Mountain’s Alpine Race Program, The Windham Race Factory, officially begins it’s 2020 Season on Saturday, December 14, 2019. Warman is on the job now.  “I’m proud to be part of the vibrant and notorious program here at Windham,” he says. “I look forward to coupling my coaching and training experience with my relationship building value system to continue moving this transformational program forward”.
