New Hire Training
New Hire training is required for all new hires in their first season. It is also open to any staff member wishing to work on general skiing improvement and/or teaching style development.
Participants meet at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday, Sunday, and over the Christmas holiday period. Additional sessions are available after the last lineup of the day when work requirements allow.

Alpine Certification Training
Training for instructors wishing to prepare for PSIA certification is available at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday, Sunday, and over the Christmas holiday period. Candidates are organized by certification level (1, 2, or 3), readiness level, and proximity to the exam.
Additional training is available after the last lineup of the day when classes are not assigned to the candidate.

Snowboard Certification Training
Training for instructors wishing to prepare for AASI certification is available at 8 am every Saturday, Sunday, and over the Christmas holiday period. Candidates are organized by certification level (1, 2, or 3), readiness level, and proximity to the exam.

Children’s Instructor Training
Training is mandatory for all New Hire instructors for one season. It is also open to any children’s instructor wishing to work on general skiing improvement and/or teaching development. While not required, participants are encouraged to pursue PSIA/AASI Certification. Areas covered are general skiing improvement, understanding childhood development, and the application of skiing improvement using the affective domain.
Participants meet at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday, Sunday, and over the Christmas holiday period. Additional sessions are available after the last lineup of the day when work requirements allow.

Freestyle Coach Training
Freestyle coaches train from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. every Saturday and holidays as required. Coaches are grouped for training into specialty areas and for development opportunities.

Snowboard Instructor Training
Training is available to Snowboard instructors for riding improvement, park and pipe, and teaching techniques every Saturday, Sunday, and over the Christmas holiday period. Sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. and after the last lineup of the day when work requirements allow.

Mountain Masters Ski Instructor Training
Training for ski instructors working with the Mountain Masters program will be available at 8:00 a.m. on specific Saturdays and Sundays, dates to be determined. Training will cover the core skiing skills that are taught in each of the Mountain Master groups, presenting those skills in a fun atmosphere, and general class handling.
