Great news for skiers & riders heading for upstate New York

New Lifts, Trails, Activities, Dining and Snowmaking

Over the past three years, Windham's ownership has invested over $12 million in the resort. Things kicked off with three new trails, four new lifts and many snowmaking improvements. The Windham Mountain Adventure Park added a bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall and an ice skating center (which is a skateboard park in the summer). The restaurant at the Winwood Inn was completely remodeled with beautiful timber, stone and copper elements and renamed Rock'n Mexicana Cantina + Grill.

The base lodge now has a new exterior, with new roofing materials to match the adjacent Enclave building and more alpine elements like timber and stone. The Wunderbar Cafe was added, as well as a new barbecue and bar on the patio and a waffle hut and crepe hut on the mountain. Windham Mountain Sports was expanded and now carries even more popular brands. The Club at Windham Mountain, a private club space on the third floor of the lodge, opened to the general public for dinner reservations on Friday and Saturday nights. The incredible views from the club are rivaled only by the stunning interior finishes. The Club also adds to the options for banquet events at the resort.

Snowmaking continues to be an annual focus. New guns, fans and snowmaking lines are added every year, and the snowmaking pond will be expanded next summer for even more ammo.

Windham has also held a number of very successful mountain biking events in the past few years, attracting top-level athletes (including three Olympians) to the mountaintop.
