What is the Big Air Bag?
A variation on the fall cushions used by professional stunt men, the Big Air Bag at Windham lets every skier and rider practice big jumps with a soft cushy landing. It’s a blast for spectators, too. With a $99 Airfare Card, you can fly high all season. And watching is free.
The Big Air Bag is suitable for skiers / snowboarders over the age of 12. It’s possible to use the Big Air Bag below this age, with parental consent.
Important basic skills:
Being able to ski or snowboard downhill in a straight line.
- Some experience of jumping.
- Having proper snowboard / ski equipment.
- Being able to commit to the jump ( not stopping on top of the jump )
- Having enough speed to make the gap between the jump and the bag between 5 and 10 feet.
- Riders Must where a helmet.
- No ski poles
- No inverts
