Big Air Bag at Windham Mountain

A variation on the fall cushions used by professional stunt men, the Big Air Bag at Windham lets every skier and rider practice big jumps with a soft, cushy landing.

The Big Air Bag is suitable for skiers / snowboarders over the age of 12. It’s possible to use the Big Air Bag below this age, with parental consent.

Important basic skills:

Being able to ski or snowboard downhill in a straight line.

• Some experience of jumping
• Having proper snowboard / ski equipment
• Being able to commit to the jump ( not stopping on top of the jump )
• Having enough speed to make the gap between the jump and the bag between 5 and 10 feet
• Skiers and riders must wear a helmet
• No ski poles
• No inverts

Hours: The Big Air Bag is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., conditions permitting. To check for current operating status, check our Mountain Report.
