Q: What do I need to rent equipment?
A: All renters must have a valid state ID or credit card in order to rent. Minors must have an adult to leave this information.
Q: I'm tired of using the same old gear. Is there a better quality set-up in the rental shop?
A: For more advanced skiers and riders, for only $10 more, you can try out a High-Performance rental package that is a step up from the standard gear. Ask at the shop for more details and we would be happy to help you.
Q: If I rent for more than one day, do I have to take all of my equipment with me or is there a place I can keep it?
A: All multi-day rentals receive free overnight ski valet... just drop them off in the rental shop at night and pick them up at the same location the next morning. Space is limited; first come, first served.
Q: If I come to Windham Mountain the night before I'm going to ski, can I pick up my equipment then?
A: Every Friday and Saturday night from 5:30-9:00pm guests can pick up their equipment and be ready to go straight to the slopes in the morning. Guests may also choose to use the free overnight valet service. Just stop in the rental shop in the morning to pick it up. Space is limited; first come, first served.
Q: What boot sizes do you have available?
A: We have ski boots from size 6 (junior) to 16 (adult), and snowboard boots size 12 (junior) to 15 (adult).
Q: What brands of gear do you carry?
A: The rental shop carries Rossignol and Fischer skis, Salomon ski boots, and Rossignol boards and boots.
Q: Last time I rented a snowboard, you guys had a step-in system. Is that still what you carry?
A: Over the past couple of years, the rental shop has converted 100% of its inventory to the traditional snowboard system - no more step-ins!
