This season has been such a blast, we’re already looking ahead to the next! 2017 / 2018 Season Pass and Programs prices have been posted and we have some new and exciting things to offer. Windham Mountain Resort has joined forces with M.A.X. Pass! Our Double Diamond pass holders will now have the opportunity to “MAXify” with the M.A.X. Pass Add-On. Opting in allows the pass holder a great season at Windham Mountain, plus 5 days at over 40 ski resorts around the U.S., including the west. Yes, 5 days at each of those resorts. That’s a lot of skiing and riding, bring it on!
We are also very pleased to introduce Travel Guard season pass insurance. Ski pass insurance provides coverage for you and your ski pass investment when the unexpected happens. Inquire about coverage when purchasing your pass. For more information call the Ticket Office at 518-734-4300, ext. 1100.
As always, more improvements are in the works for the 2017 /2018 season. Northeast skiing and snowboarding was even better this season with more improvements to the snowmaking system. We had more snow production in a shorter period of time, and those stockpiles were perfect for unexpected warm periods. There was another new groomer out on the hill – an environmentally friendly PB400. Beginners had a great time with an enhanced learn to ski and ride program, and renting equipment was a breeze! Guests blazed right through an efficient rental experience in a newly renovated Rental Shop.
Every year, the whole family can get excited about winter activities in the Northern Catskills. The Resort offers snow tubing, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, yoga, dining and entertainment. The best equipment and apparel of the season can be found at the Mountain Sports Shop, and the Boot Lab has been renovated for an even more comfortable bootfitting experience. You can even escape for a few hours at the slope-side Alpine Spa.
The new luxury trailside condominiums at Whisper Creek are complete. Nearly 75% have been sold, and many families are already enjoying occupancy. Last spring, two more of the remaining Upper Wipeout homesites were sold. Imagine, this kind of momentum at the end of last year’s challenging season. It speaks volumes about Windham’s reputation as a place to make family memories for generations.
