Right after Labor Day weekend, it’s like the switch gets flipped and we are barreling full speed ahead into a fantastic winter season. We’ve made snow making improvements again this year and added another new groomer. The Farmer’s Almanac is promising snow and ideal temperatures! Whoo hoo! We’ll keep those heroic snowmakers standing by just in case – their work was legendary last season.
We’ll have more fun for beginners with an enhanced learn to ski and ride program, and renting equipment will be a breeze! Blaze right through an efficient rental experience in a newly renovated Rental Shop with technicians who will get you on the snow fast. The Mountain Sports Shop is filling up with the best gear of the season, and the Boot Lab has been renovated for an even more comfortable experience. If you didn’t get to the new Demo Shop last year, check it out, conveniently located right next to D Lift. Oh, and there’s some night-life rumored at SEASONS!
Season Passes for the 2016 / 2017 season are on sale now with the best deals available through October 10th. We are very pleased to announce there is no price increase on passes! The Triple Play and Triple Play Plus Cards are coming soon. Stay tuned!
Before the snow starts to fly, we still have some good autumn fun to keep us outside and smiling. The foliage at the Resort golf course is lighting up and the greens fees have been rolled back to our pre-season specials. Don’t miss it! The Windham Mountain Bike Park is going strong on weekends through Columbus Day. Join us at the lodge for our annual Homecoming celebration during Columbus Day Weekend. On Saturday, October 8th, we’ll have a party on the patio! Enjoy our delicious harvest themed BBQ, take a sky ride, paint pumpkins, check out the tent sale, swap some gear at the ski swap, or just sit back in a big lounge chair and be grateful for the mountains! You work hard, relax a little.
The new luxury trailside condominiums at Whisper Creek are complete. Nearly 75% have been sold, and many families are already enjoying occupancy. Last spring, two more of the remaining Upper Wipeout homesites were sold. Imagine, this kind of momentum at the end of last year’s challenging season. It speaks volumes about Windham’s reputation as a place to make family memories for generations.
